  2. You’ll see a multi-step form
Create Market page - Step 1: Market Setup

Step 2: Market Setup

  1. Select Market Type:
    • Binary: Simple YES/NO market
    • Multi-Outcome Binary: Multiple conditions
    • Series: Automatically regenerating market
  2. Select Market Configuration:
    • DEFAULT: Standard one-time market
    • SERIES: Market that regenerates on a schedule
  3. Enter Basic Information:
    • Title: Clear, specific question (e.g., “Will Team A win the championship?”)
    • Description: Detailed explanation of what the market is about
    • Sources: Where information about the outcome will come from
    • Category: Select the appropriate category
Make your title clear and specific. Vague questions are harder to resolve and may be rejected.

Step 3: Define Outcomes

  1. For Binary Markets:
    • System automatically creates YES/NO options
    • You just need to ensure your question is clear
  2. For Multi-Outcome Binary:
    • Add each condition/outcome
    • Each outcome gets its own YES/NO options
    • Example: “Which team wins?”
      • Team A: YES/NO
      • Team B: YES/NO
      • Team C: YES/NO

Step 4: Set Time Details

  1. Expiration Date:
    • When should this market close?
    • Choose a date and time
    • Markets close before the event happens
  2. For Series Markets:
    • Set regeneration schedule
    • Choose frequency (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, etc.)
    • Set time windows for trading
    • Configure timezone
Set expiration date before the actual event. Markets need time to close and resolve before the outcome is known.

Step 5: Upload Image (Optional)

  1. Add Market Image:
    • Upload a relevant image
    • This helps your market stand out
    • Recommended size: 1200x630 pixels
  2. Image Editor:
    • Crop and adjust your image
    • Preview how it will look

Step 6: Review and Submit

  1. Review Your Market:
    • Check all information is correct
    • Verify expiration date
    • Ensure question is clear
