Account Questions

Go to Profile → Settings → Change Password. Enter your current password and your new password, then save changes.
No, one account per person. Multiple accounts may be subject to closure. Contact support if you need help with account access.
Predicta supports USD, KES, TZS, and PT (Predicta Tokens). Your account has a default currency, but you can view balances in multiple currencies.
Go to your Profile page, click “Edit Profile”, make your changes, and save. You can update your name, phone number, and location information.

Trading Questions

You can buy as few as 1 share, but check minimum order requirements for each market. Some markets may have minimum order sizes.
Yes, you can cancel any open order from the Orders page. Once an order is filled, it cannot be cancelled. Funds are immediately returned when you cancel.
Depends on market liquidity. Some orders fill instantly if there’s a matching order, others may take time. You can always cancel open orders if needed.
Your order stays in the order book until it fills or you cancel it. You can adjust the price or cancel and place a new order.
You can cancel any open order and place a new one. Once filled, orders cannot be changed. Always review your order before confirming.
Limit orders let you set a specific price and may not fill immediately. Market orders fill immediately at current price but guarantee execution.

Market Questions

Markets resolve based on their specific resolution criteria. Some resolve automatically using tracked data, others are resolved by admins based on the market’s criteria.
After a market settles, payouts are processed automatically to winners. This usually happens shortly after the market resolves.
You can create markets, but they must be approved. Markets need clear questions, specific resolution criteria, and appropriate expiration dates. Some topics may be prohibited.
Usually 24-48 hours, but may vary depending on volume and complexity. You’ll be notified when your market is reviewed.
No, markets cannot be edited once approved. Make sure all information is correct before submitting. Contact support if critical changes are needed.
If a market is cancelled, all orders are refunded and no payouts are made. Your funds are returned to your account.

Payment Questions

Usually instant for mobile money (Paystack), a few minutes for cryptocurrency. Your balance updates automatically once the payment is confirmed.
Check with your payment provider. Predicta doesn’t charge deposit fees, but payment providers may have their own fees.
Usually 1-3 business days, depending on the withdrawal method. Some methods may be faster or slower.
Some withdrawal methods may have fees. Check when setting up your withdrawal method. Fees are deducted from the withdrawal amount.

No, you can only withdraw available funds. Funds in suspense are reserved for pending orders. Cancel orders to free up funds if needed.

Portfolio Questions

Go to the “Portfolios” page in the sidebar. You’ll see all markets where you have positions, with your holdings and current values.
Your portfolio shows profit/loss for each position. It’s calculated as: (Current Price × Shares) - (What You Paid). Positive = profit, negative = loss.
Yes, go to the “Trades” page to see all your completed trades. The “Orders” page shows all your order history.
Sell all your shares in that market. Go to the market page or your portfolio, click “Sell”, enter the quantity, and confirm.

Technical Questions

Try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or checking your internet connection. If issues persist, contact support.
Check that you’re using the correct email and password. Use the “Forgot Password” link if needed. Make sure your email is verified.
